Feeling Blogged Down

As you can tell by the infrequent posts, my re-entry has not been as fruitful as it should be, and unfortunately the blogging is suffering. Somehow real life has a never-ending "to do" list, which was suspiciously absent while we were away.

There, the choices were not so onerous. And they were all ones that didn't have "should" attached to them. Here, although many of the choices - including blogging - are pleasant enough, I think it is the sheer volume of them that seems overwhelming.

All the things I didn't think about when I was there are floating in and out of my reality. Classes that are looming on the horizon, articles that need writing, patterns that need transferring, hooking that is far behind where it should be.

See, there it is again - that word "should". Not one of my favourites lately. I was thinking about the word - what kind of visual would there be for it - and did the usual thing - googled. I found this visual, which was part of this person's blog. Reading her post made me laugh - I am certainly not the only person who deals with should's everyday. I do not know her, but wanted to credit her for the image. So thank you stranger and fellow "should-er".

So, this is my apology post. I hope it will be the last one for a while with no rug-related content. I am pretty sure I will be back on track by the time our next little jaunt is over. That's right - off to Florida next week. And by the time we are back in about 10 days, the winter "should" be over.

Hi Wendie,
Thank-you for such kind words on my blog today! I appreciate the plug to your students very much! Wish I could take your class... a primitive class sounds very intriguing!
The "should do" list is never ending isn't it? The days I'm happiest is when I quit thinking about it all!!
Happy Easter and Spring( assuming it get's here this year! LOL!)
Hugs!!
